A record number of 23 BVR ladies turned out to run the Dornafield Ladies 10k on Sunday morning.
This race is very popular amongst local women and has been organised by Teignbridge Trotters for 25 years. It was set up to raise money for a Bowel cancer charity and has raised thousands of pounds.
It is also renowned for its wide selection of homemade cakes on sale afterwards.!
The race was undulating throughout and very scenic, taking in views of Ogwell, Denbury and surrounding areas. It finishes back at the campsite with the dreaded 400m run around the periphery with plenty of cheering from the campers.
Special congratulations to both Victoria Latham and Ilona Baughan who came 3rd in their age categories.
