The Bovey Valley Runners Annual Awards night was held at the Dartmoor Whiskey Distillery in Bovey with over 70 members enjoying a Christmas knees up with food, drink and music from the wonderful Go Tell Alice band.
This year the club continues to grow, and we had a very successful Couch to 5K season. At the end of the 12-week course there were over 30 completing the final 5k run. Our next Couch to 5k will start again in September next year.
This year’s award winners were:
- Best Newcomer – Rowan Kemble
- Most Supportive Club Member – Selina Jones
- Most Extreme Runner – Tim Ashman
- Most Improved Runner – Ruth Mylius
- Most Enthusiastic Club Member – Nicola Huckerby
