The Burrator 10k is a fast, flat route circling the reservoir – and mostly on tarmac. With 250 runners it was a busy event on a fine summer evening.
BVR was represented by David Black (1:06:17), Mary Black (1:06:02) and Jill Bishop (1:05:50).
Early on Sunday morning Jackie Fitton and Rob White were on Paignton Green for the start of the annual Torbay Half Marathon and 10K races. A few light showers tried to dampen the event, and the runners were also challenged with blustery conditions along the sea front.
Jackie completed the 10k in 1:05:28, and Rob the Half in 1:53:22.
